Advances Summer 2026 – digital edition now available

The 39th edition of the John Innes Centre Advances magazine is now available online.

This new edition highlights our commitment to translating knowledge into real-world impact, exploring how science benefits plants, people and planet.

This includes fortifying plants to counter hidden hunger and malnutrition, including ‘Sunshine’ tomatoes and pea shoots, as well as supporting vaccine production and soil health.

You can read the full  Advances magazine on our website or  via a PDF flipbook – and to make sure you get it delivered straight into your inbox next time,  sign up to our e-Advances mailing list.

You can also follow us on social media @JohnInnesCentre.

We hope you enjoy reading this latest edition of Advances as much as we have enjoyed creating it. If you have any feedback, please email us at comms@jic.ac.uk.
